Four Steps, No Moving Target

One shop handles the measure, the fabrication and the install, so nothing gets lost between trades.

Step 01

Site measure

We come out, measure the deck, check the framing and confirm guard heights. The measure is free.

This is where the details get settled: wide or narrow picket, base-plated or fascia-mounted posts, where a gate goes and which way it swings. Nothing is cut until it has been measured on site.

  • Bring: The rough length, how many stair runs and whether you need a gate
  • Cost: Free

Step 02

Written quote

Linear footage, gate count, finish and lead time, on one page.

Because it is quoted from a real measurement, the number you get is the number you pay.

  • On the page: Linear footage, gates, finish, lead time
  • Price: The number you get is the number you pay

Step 03

Fabrication

Cut, welded and powder-coated to your measurements in our Surrey shop.

Panels are welded rather than screwed, so there are no visible fasteners to loosen or rust. Everything is finished in baked powder coat, satin black as standard with white and custom colours on request. Commercial jobs are drawn first, with shop drawings.

  • Finish: Baked powder coat: satin black, white or custom

Step 04

Install & walkthrough

Usually a day for a standard deck. We clean up and adjust the gates.

The crew that installs is the same shop that measured and built it, so nothing gets lost between trades. Commercial installs are staged to suit the site.

  • Time on site: Usually a day for a standard deck
  • Before we leave: Clean-up and gate adjustment

What to Send Us

Send the rough length, how many stair runs and whether you need a gate. A photo of the deck helps more than anything.

Is the site measure free?

Yes. We come out, measure the deck, check the framing and confirm guard heights at no charge, and the written quote follows.

What's in the quote?

Linear footage, gate count, finish and lead time, on one page. The number you get is the number you pay.

How long does an install take?

Usually a day for a standard deck. We clean up afterwards and adjust the gates before we leave.

Do you build custom railing designs?

Yes. We build every type of railing, and custom designs are drawn up to suit your house before anything is cut: picket, glass, cable or a mix.
